GRAPHIC DESIGNER  /  MAY 2020 - APRIL 2022
During my time with the Rams, I created branding, templates, and compositional artwork from concept to final product on all major yearly initiatives and marketing campaigns. My design work was focused on (but was not limited to) innovative social media artwork, website creative, assets around SoFi Stadium, and OOH.
The Rams are a special organization, and I was fortunate to be a part of it at an equally special time. The team became extraordinarily successful (which afforded our design team many especially rewarding creative opportunities) but that made engaging a uniquely diverse fanbase even more important. Throughout the creative process on every campaign and marketing project, we thought hard about how to properly connect with a demographic that - despite the team's rich tradition and history - had to warm itself up to fandom again.
Engaging in this consistent exercise allowed me to learn an incredibly valuable lesson over and over again: design is not for the designer - it's for the beholder. Learning to reverse-engineer the creative process, and to think beyond pure aesthetics, made me much more successful in art direction.
Endless thanks go to Cory Befort, Shawn Dangerfield, Cate Howard, Melissa Park, Jake Dunn, Zoe Kaatz, and Max Neser for being such a crucial part of making my time with the Rams an amazing experience.

Modern Throwback Jersey Launch
In leading the design of our new jersey campaign on digital and social, I set out to capture the essence of the product itself - retro but futuristic. This brief made for a project that stretched the bounds of the brand in every way. I leveraged the Ram horn curve as the center of the design theory, and built out from there. Enlarging the line work of the brand marks, and having those shapes interact with fresh typography explorations, created the bold look I desired.

Gameday Poster Series Selects
I worked with our outstanding social team to develop a weekly 3-part gameday series. I created an interconnected group of posters for each game - each week with a distinct theme, but cohesive as a complete campaign. It's always a delicate balance to strike, but incredibly rewarding. This series gained the most traction out of all my Rams work - the social engagement was off the charts. I've selected a few of my favorites below.
