Josh Dobbs, Titans quarterback and former Tennessee Volunteer, jumped into the sports NFT game early on. Through the folks at Grit Player Services (David Jaffin and Jake Miller), I was able to jump into it myself as well. In April of 2021, I worked with Dobbs' team to design artwork for his first NFT release.
We wanted to lean in to Dobbs' aerospace engineering background as the dominant visual element here. With some exciting, vibrant, and wild art direction, two distinct subjects were able to come together in a dynamic way.
